If devs "intend" for Knight to stick to physical damage at least give them some WS again.

Historically RFs was too powerful with Emp Champion and even SnB were doing decent pressure. Instead of toning it down they nerfed Emp Champ duration first. Then replaced Strength with Toughness, WS with Ini and to be "fair" to the mirror gave it to the Chosen.

Also to respect the mirror, gave Chosen a tactic which allowed them to do full spirit damage with a downside of 15% less heal taken whereas MS was removed from glory tree, replaced with RF, and caused all knight abilities to do ele damage instead of only glory abilities but take 15% more damage.

So to conclude it was intended to make knight and chosen to be able to do magic damage at a personal cost. Now that is removed we don't have benefits to magic damage nor physical damage anymore and giving ele damage on weak abilities isn't going to be on par with the removal of MS. Hence I suggested to bring back the original MS or give them some more WS
