You need to use State of Realm (SOR) addon to check the action in RvR => review the addons section in forum, probably there are some helpful that you can use.

you can also use the war report to travel for free to active rvr zones (1 use every 20 minutes)
What are war reports and how do I use them? Is that the small icon under the scenario queue button? Search function is not helpful with any key word containing "report" or "war".

the war report icon is around the minimap, it looks like a little scroll and you can click on it and travel to the places listed there once every 20 minutes
