to truely become a good aSW player you will first have to learn to grp with a SM and WL

edit: i guess this is what you guys were referring to when you mentioned decision making as a factor of skill in this game??

AS aSW WW only makes your Brutal Assault spammable other than that having WW doesnt matter and usually 2H SM's doesnt have it, its not a big deal. But yes if you are trying to do AOE as Skirmisher you must have WW to get close to what other normal dps can do alone

The ones played by the players who have the best decision making, situational awareness and reflexes.

IB/BG, no contest.

Playing a healer who can damage and heal at the same time to a decent level is hardest to play well by a long shot, not including WP/DOK. When I see RP/Zeal/AM/Sham who do good healing and damage numbers in the same instance it is impressive and very rare, but does happen.

It's probably IB/BG as everyone said, and it's pretty simple as to the why.

1. Playing a good tank already tends to be the highest skill ceiling (and also floor/ceiling gap), in this game. You have to focus on both protecting your allies and damaging/CCing your enemies, which requires high levels of situational awareness and decision making to pull of well. I.e., guard swaps, CC timers, focus firing assisting, etc.. Frankly, it's just easier to DPS or heal.
2. IBs and BGs have a more complex mechanic than the other tank archetypes that requires more active mental management.
3. IBs and BGs have a secondary mechanic (oathfriend/dark protector) which adds another level of complexity to the class in comparison to other archetypes.

BO's and SM's would have the next highest skill ceiling.

Nah with Tanks you have enough life and HP to make mistakes. You can literally play a tank to a good standard just by hanging close to you your guard and using Hold the line, occasionally knocking back people, its pretty stress free. With the lighter armoured class a single mistake or misused skill can mean the difference between living or not.

AM/Shaman healer is highest skill ceiling overall

BG/IB is a little bit behind them and still fairly high ceiling for tanks

ROF BW at fort is the highest skill ceiling for dps :P

Is that because the "rain of fire" literally comes down from the ceiling? I mean it may indeed have the highest animation of any ability, have we tested?
