BO on the other hand is a standard tank, my favorite personally. They can also do some good dps and excel at debuffing the target they attack. Was really good against classes that spam one ability like WH, or healers.
That's my experience with the classes but keep in mind my experience only goes to T3 with both classes, late T3 though.

Lol my bad, just saw that as well. Can't help with BG except for that atm there is not a lot of gear for the class. It can be really uber hard to gear up your BG, but I would still rather have someone join the Forces of Destruction than Order. That would mean I'd have to attack you, and I don't fancy attacking a tank.

And just think about it - BG is supposed to be anti-magic tank, but he doesn't even have silence. Chosen fight better, tank better, buff better, etc.
Btw, if you want the good side of the BG - he cannot be detaunted (with tactic ofc).

You block guard dmg and ofc you use a shield. 2h spec is significantly worse.
You punt away enemy guard tanks or certain threats. Dragon Wake was gold.
Many classes can debuff incoming healing. BG is debuffing outgoing healing. Assist on a healer with a MDPS and you reduce 75% selfhealing.
Choking Fury prevents your target from spamming abilities.
The roles Mythic gave them are outdated.

2 points I want to make first and foremost BG’s arnt as trashy as sm’s b/c unlike sm bg actually has cc which is what sms really lack; block and parry arnt that really big of a hurdle/requirement if you have a guard on someone. Furthermore punts should be used to do things like punt tanks away from guard range or be an ass like an rdps and punt some one into you team/grp/zerg
Secondly OP did not ask what was better neither nor did they ask for between bg v chosen they asked KOTBs vs bg; not everyone wants to be a mother **** Viking in full plate armor
Some just want to hate and kill everything, its not always about playing whats best, cause then no one would want to play BlOrc or sm

It's all only in theory, friend, on the battlefield it's all kinda different, but i don't want to dissuade you of playing BG, i just...whine, maybe. BG got armor reduce only in last patches, never got 2h knockdown (IB have it), so it was kinda hard to have hope for better.
