Dropping my shield due to SW changes

With the SW having a 25% armor penetration PLUS a -10% to block for 10 seconds I see no point in keeping my chosen with SnB.

Would not be surprised if next ability ignores guard too.

You realize SW had 'acid arrow' for the entirety of its existence before the recent rework was implemented. Like you can't make this **** up. Why weren't you bitching about it then?


-Witch elf has 'Elixir of Insane Power' so I'm not going to wear armor anymore
-Chosen does spirit dmg with ravage and relentless when specced, I'm not going to wear armor anymore
-Marauder has 'Cutting Claw' and undependable armor debuff, I'm not going to wear armor or shields or invest into parry or block at all, it is useless!

Keep doing what destro does best and pulling a Karen and complaining hard. At this point I hope they delete SW.

Order doesn't need SW to beat destro anyhow.

I see no point in going for defensive builds when not only everything around carries a can opener, but the changes give more and require less.

With so many changes, at least chosen dire shielding could have been fixed from the "emergency nerf", with enough to provide a deterrent to bws or wls or any other mindless aoe spam that would have helped in sieges and in general (maybe up in the tree so that it was only accessible for def builds).

But no. Changes seem to keep going towards general TTK reduction.

(Slayers are IMO a bit excessive but at this point it's like arguing that WLs are excessive. Pointless. Destro may have its issues too but I don't feel them so I think I'd be not the best one to talk)

You do realize Acid Arrow has a defensive check? It often gets blocked or dodged on tanks, it is most effect of mid armor targets who are less likely do defend against it.

And again acid arrow was in the game since SW inception.

And you're complaining about a bug with Dire Shielding being fixed? Complaining... about a bug... being fixed... dude you need to get real. It seems to me you are a newbie or a low geared player. Go get your free invaders and get carried in ez mode cities bro. Good god.

yea take away the 1 skill that is Unique to Slayers, cry babies. NO Slayer can kill a Chosen anyway, l2p ffs. And OP seriously ? so u think all SW use 2 Tactic slots just to kill a Tank ? no DPS ever builds for Tank-killing, how about the fact u as Chosen ignore ALL armor the SW has with your Spirit attacks. Get a grip man
