Explain how u gonna block on 2h please.Your disrupt with no shield will sucks unless you are a bg with full hate and disrupt tactic.Your disrupt will be **** if you cant hold the line even if you put all your renown point into disrupt.Thats why on 2h you will melt in 2 seconds if u get caught in a bw bomb and thats why no one should run 2h for generic rvr wb use (unless ofc a bg built for 2h wb use or maybe a sm but i dont see why when you can run whispering wind and s/b for wb utility).2h works fine for those use when you have limited amount of enemies like sc/city/small scale

From my perspective (specific Destro side)
The shield does not help in smaller engagements (city is smaller engagement) , there is almost no use for HTL in the smaller engagements as ppl are spread on both sides this means the issue is not that 2h needs a nerf but that shield tanks need buffing.

When u add the number of undefendable skills and things like rampage when thier are stacked slayers that are in a team where the team cover the rampage by regularly updating other buffs over self buffed ones.

This means not just that shield becomes next zero block value but the tank remains of trivial noodle hitting value.
So if you want tanks to be tanky need to reduce the undefendable and give them some more utility

Block is a more powerful defence than parry. It would be insanely op to have the same amount of block, tanks would be unkillable. Also if you go all parry and neglect dodge disrupt you'll suffer from ranged. Leave tanks alone they are fine.

With non shall pass and invader gear a BG can have like 90% block or close to it, I don't really see the problem here.
And as for 2h tankier than snb, before I got bis gear for my bg I used to play him pretty tanky as 2h, had more toughness in the 2h build than in the snb one and that's only because as snb I used terrifying foe that easily got your toughness over 1k if you used pitiless strike at 100hatred.

side note:
anyone felt that toughness 75% cap seems no more ?
met few 2h chosens mitigated to 0 dmg.
I was 400str tank, they prolly had 7~800 toughness even as 2h.
looking for same experience.
it's good news to tanks if it's true.
