warlord/sov as dps shaman

I just checked with the ranked SC gear
and it seems like the best value is
5warlord/3 ranked sc for the best DPS.

With best value I meant highest results for least effort, aka fast to farm.
Without changes to ranked pop rate, those sets will be no option.
I see no point to take 3 ranked in combination to 5 warlord. The only reason would be to stack more magic power but the price is a lot crit chance. Otherwise 5 warlord / 3 alt sov is better.

I've done the math 3rankedsc/5warlod is the best dps value you get.

My default now is 26% magic crit, 137magic power int excluded.
with 3ranked/5warlord
29% magic crit, 236mpower

lets say a dot ticks for 100.
added the mpower -> 336mpower per tick
lets take 13 ticks
336X13 = 4368
4368X0.29(crit chance)=1266.72

150% crit chance of (1266.72)=1900.08
1900.08+4368= 6268.08

I tried all different variations between warlord/sov , sov/warlord and so on. This one gave me the highest result.
Obviously it's not an easy farm with the ranked pops, but I'm close to my first item already ( back ) , farming the royal crests isn't easy as well for this one you need 201 royal crests.
If you go the warlord/sov mix you need approx 340 royal crests depends on your setup, but I don't see the point when ranked/warlord gives better dps, and easier to farm imo.

I'm RR 73 dps shaman right now, I'm not sure what you mean
I am full int at renown / 3magic crit / 1fs at 80 it will be 2FS.
Right now I'm 2/6 domi 4/6 opp / 61sc wep / 3pc beaslord/ genesis +bl jewelery.

so the numbers I wrote that what it will be when I get that specific gear regardless of my RR now.
You can do da math yourself if ya want, dis gobbo got intelligence from get'n smarta did da math.

You can go 5/6 opp 2/6 ranked sc, you will be on 33% magic crit more dps, or 4/6 opp 3/6 ranked sc for more wounds, this is on a "budget" grind.
by "budget" I mean the ranked sc..

With your warlord/ranked setup you trade 6% crit chance for 54 magic power, no good deal.

Yeah 29% crit is with renown and tactic, but what difference does it make? are you going to respec to 2 magic crit and 3 fs? then remove 4% magic crit and recalculate to see what's best for you.

Opposed to what do I trade 6% crit for 54 magic power? first of all its not 54 magic power that's for sure, the minimum added is at least 99 from the warlord set bonus.

If you're talking numbers explain where you're getting them from cause it's very confusing, saying random numbers.

3x crit, 2x fs, full int

With this renown spec, you can take 5 alt sov + 3 opp (or when you farm it 3 ranked) and you sit at 35% crit and 182 magic power. I am at 200, because bloodlord weapon. Those 6% crit are a lot more worth than the 54 magic power.

Edit:
Even with 5% crit potion , which will put you at 40% crit chance at 182 mp, you still don't get close to the variation I provided sorry.
I guess crit chance doesn't scale well once its high enough.
