I've never heard of an addon that could do this, however you can check class populations in each zone (or the entire server) with the zonepop addon. Just hover your mouse pointer over its box near the bottom (after checking the pop with it), and a list of the different class populations shows up.
Here's a screenshot I took a year or so ago, back when White Lions had just become the flavor of the month. The relevant info is in the top right corner.
You can also change which zone you want the population info for (including an option for the whole server info). Now, this version won't show you people that are hidden or anonymous but it does give you a general feel for where the population is at. Might help a bit with some of the information you are looking for.
