Marauder has a ranged KD which comes off a disrupt, regular Squig also has a KD, though calling it "ranged" is a stretch.

Aza you cant compere those..... ranged knockdown on a melee is reasonable or useless( and you require disrupt, so you basicaly require to get your pull disrupted, and only that, and that can happen on a tank at best). Squig herder one is on melee path with squig armor if not mistaken and as you said it's not ranged(5 feet).
Still give a rkd to bw it's a worst design choice, bw do not need that to be dangerous it's just make him able to bring a target down alone or treat just too easily dok on first line, that is something it miss on destru side. Maybe on engi that KD would be more fair and not so stupid. Also bw can alredy cleanse dot from himself, how many strong tool bw still need? ( oh yea just give him undefeatable fireball couz have the best dps meccanic in game + ranged cc+ undeafeatable hit + auto cleanse and a little of self heal is not so much broken.....lol... )

I already stopped reading after these words.. You need to disrupt a spell from someone else. not vice versa

Yes. Impossible to flee from a mara, when someone is casting on him.
Worst thing you can do on cloth healers when running away from a marauder is trying to damage him. So even if he is out of range for terrible embrace or M1 root (both 65 feet) or gets his TE disrupted, he has a good chance to catch targets up to 100 feet away.

my bad but even worst that way, you will never be able to disrupt with mara if you opponents are not magic user or in the case they are you have not even like 15% chance to disrupt with mara.
Also even that way mara cannot ranged attack you, while bw does, yes you can be pulled, still while waiting to be pulled you can gain immunity thx to tank sov /warp skill etc or be ward/hot from your healers.
You atm think mara as a problem cos you played against it on official. But with not bug tactics/skills mara will be a better WL with a working pull nothing more.

Uhm ranged snare?
that and the fact TE worked about 15% of the time you cast it
I also agree that kd upon disrupt can hardly be considered the same as an anytime kd on a target of your choice - that's a nonsense comparison in practical terms in terms of how you can utilize it

Actually squig have snare and KB If only ppl use properly their pet.
They just need to fix root zone of sh (the one where sh jump back)

The 100 feet range knockdown is not OP because it exists. It is OP because it is on the
melee class that has already the
most utility.

Witch elf have range kd (max almost 50 feets ) and i think its undefeandable.
