Same here, i played a war priest and it was awesome but couldn't afford to pay the sub so i quit sadly.

If I had to guess, there was a youtuber LazyPeon who just made a first impressions video on the private server, so maybe increased traffic is causing the error? (That's why I'm here. Used to play back in the day and didn't know a private server was up and running)

Good youtube, but the player count on the homepage only shows 813 players online right now out of 1500 capacity.

The login server is working fine now as we've had several people in Discord get their installs straightened out and finished in the past 30 minutes. If you're still having troubles getting things to work you might have missed something during the install or something on your PC is blocking or bothering the game launcher.

Keep in mind, this is a private server and a lot of antivirus companies don't consider anything we do as legitimate (despite having clean ratings from plenty of places). If you are running some kind of antivirus, it may have already damaged install files before you turned it off. We can't really know exactly what problem you're having without a lot more details, so this post

should take care of most questions regarding the initial install process.

Try to uncheck read only from game folder.

I was able to update the game after your post! Seems like it fixed itself, at least on my end, without any other tinkering. Hopefully others are able to have the same success
