Heh! Heh! So much about WAR and its fabled PvP gameplay. It's all laid on the PvE backbone. As I always said:
"An mmo with a shitty PvE is a shitty mmo. An mmo without PvE is a dead mmo"

Personally, I think WAR PvP is super fun, but being a naked noob with barely any skills makes for bad competition and even worse leveling
I don't suppose any benevolent person is out there that would be willing to group up and help me level quicker... somehow... magically?

No, it doesn't work. Why do you think WAR was super niche why Camelot unchained flies under the radar of over 90% of mmo players? Why? Just answer why? And just answer why do you PvPtards hate PvE so? Because you accomplish something by beating a man in a game? I feel inspired today:
"Please accomplish something! Just go ahead and accomplish something, but make it good and make it influential! What...?"

Easy, friend, I wasn't disagreeing with you. Everyone experiences fun in their own way, and I happen to enjoy both PvP and PvE. I think either one without the other would dampen the WAR experience.

Good luck persuading the vocal minority that claims that this game should be CS/LoL with free gear and zero PvE. Really, good luck.

And it wasn't aimed at you. I know that there are people who truly understand what is RvR(a large scale PvP backed by a community of PvErs/crafters). I don't have any quarrel with those. The ones where you seemingly fit. Where I'd fit as well. I don't have to fight as long as I have influence(I can fight mobs).
That was aimed at the "CS:GO Warhammer skin" plebs. They are...natives I guess. And to baptise the natives...? Foolish errand if any.

The fastest way I have seen to rank up is to do RvR and to lockout the zone, you get a lot of renown and a lot of exp

The time it takes to lock the zone if there are enemies is way too long. You will be faster by grinding mobs or maybe through winning SCs
