1 crit % = 10 stats
the bs cape more resist but even u count in resist they are about equal . which is 66lvl = 37 lvl on stats

One more set bonus ~= 60-70 stat points, so if you include that the Bloodlord Cape is clearly better.

what's unique appearance?
That's most important.

absolutely yes. when you wear it with the rest of the set you will gain the 7th bonus which is much more powerfull then a lvl 37 item

the people behind the stat allocation are pretty stingy, but its in good faith. They dont want a terribly high difference in power between a fresh 40 and BIS 40 because that was one of the biggest problems in live which results in this pretty mediocre progression of gear. Bloodlord is a good set and I've almost got a full set myself (damn bindings) But it is a little discouraging to see comparable stats to lvl 30 items. Cool procs on the subjigator cloak or interesting bonus stats because of piece bonus is usually the benefit of higher ilevel items. Rarely do they actually have indisputable definite stat increase. Not really ROR's style. They usually offer something other pieces of armor don't offer so you can have more choices for gear. Not a bad idea, just is a little strange when you hit almost ilvl 70 and ur lvl 30 gear is still an eyebrow raiser for choice.

I know in WoW regardless of what the stats are for an item if it has a higher ilevel its better, so I tend to follow this logic in ror, even if its not true, helps me have piece in mind when 1% crit is equal to 10 stat points. smh.

This right here , while the stats are not important, its all about the Appearance , that`s what really matters.

Everyone wants to look good, even as a corpse, while taking a dirt nap.

you should be used to that i see your corpse a LOT hahaha :D
