^It sucks cause it's hard to get a party going in the first place. All the premades are on lockout and nobody really obligated to teach pugs, that's why you may as well have high wounds and know how to stack damage with pet + mists + pande + maw hope for the best. Pretty much getting Gunbads and specially Bastion Rights are pretty rare. So when you do get a pug, may as well be easy to heal or guard switch so pugs have a low chance of rage quitting.

P.S would be cool if someone could actually post a video where they do Bastion Right with like 5k HP, would be so hardcore XD I swear the 1st boss here is a lot worse than the mid Wing's last boss.

The melee snare attack, that also deals a nice chunk of damage

Basically the magus melee auto-attack. You HAVE to be melee, but at least it's instant cast (so you don't have to use close quarters and can use a different damage tactic) and attacking bosses from behind generally would mean you won't be at much risk. Flickering Red Fire needs a bunch of tactics to work, and A LOT of critical chance for it t be good, Daemonic Maw just needs a little-to-no investment in PvE.

If you're tanky or in a favorable position, it's use-able in PvP too assuming you're not using Flickering Red Fire. And it's instant cast/it has no casting time so not interruptible.

It's essentially easier to just build around Daemonic Lash and Daemonic Maw at least for PvE.
