New player: What's the most fun class?

That is really going to depend on you and what you like to do in these games.

Honestly, I would recommend to do something similar to what I did. Take a look at the classes and find some that look like something you would have fun playing. I used the career builder https://officialrorbuilder.herokuapp.com/ to check out their abilities and possible builds. Then play several of them to level 10 or so, and that will give you a good idea of their mechanics/playstyle.

I like Witch Hunter cause I always play stealth classes. In RoR they are true saboteurs and true assassins unlike other mmos. But in large battles you may find playing them boring because amount of aoe damage is insane and squishies at frontlines don’t have chances. It is a class for lone players. And it requires good gear.

I also like playing Engineer because of insane aoe damage they cause. Nothing is better than seeing swarm of damage numbers all over my screen)) A rather safe class to play cause you are at the back.

Lastly, Warrior Priest. It is very encouraging to see ‘ty for great heals’ type of messages. When there is a shortage of healers you have very interesting times.
And last but not least- I love lore of my classes.

I can tell you as the others wrote. You should try few classes and you will see. I can tell you I realy like BO with 2h, it is not very string dmg, but RR 50+ you can be nice single target DPS with decent survivability.
Magus is realy nice char to play. I don know why it is not very popular. Nice dmg and much better survivability compared to sorcerer (because of realy big backlash).
Many players love shaman - maybe I will try it too.
DOK is nice looking class to play and can be nice for soloing.
So BO, Magus, Shaman, DOK on destro side - all nice choices

It's pretty simple
Everything is **** cool and funny in this **** **** meth kinda game. I hate this game so much sometimes but thats what it's all about... Hate and Love, Win and Lose and so on. You can play for YEARS with your DPS-Zealot and **** hate every single minute of it. But when you get that cool few situations for your vid, when you see that awesome animations of your toon while doing so... everything's fine.

That's why i play for nearly, what is it, 2 years and never ever got one single lvl 40 toon.
Play what you want and git good, then delete it and start over again. The best wins are the one you're not getting easy.
