2v2 or 3v3 arena system could be interesting. You would need a heal dampening system tho I think. Probably be the same state as CaledorWoods though, only used by the minority of groups and blacklisted unless you have your top players on.
The main things that these maps lack is a reason to do them as generally playing vs good players gives less rewards than stomping pugs mercilessly in the renown/medals per hour department.
This doesn't really solve the problem of one sided gorefests of established rr80 characters with full invader/vanq or perfect 3/3/3 sets, pots/liniments and comms stomping lvl 35s in garbage gear that is 6 sets behind that scenarios seem to have devolved into.

Nobody will win in a 2vs2, because there is no pressure as a single DD. You will either have melee heal + tank or rdps + rdps healer with some double we/wh teams mixed in. It is a bad idea, accept it.

If people think current 12v12/6v6/18v18 SCs are 'imbalanced', then LULZ @ the furor that would arise if 2v2/3v3 became a thing.
The game simply isn't balanced whatsoever around these scales. Don't get me wrong: it's an incredibly cool concept, and I loved 2v2/3v3 in other games...it just wouldn't work here, mate.

Who cares? I would spam such 2x2 sc and many other players will do too. Bad idea for u might be brilliance for other man. We got many changes in different areas. Some of them are good, some are not. This idea is cheap and does not touch any core mechanic, so why it couldn't be implemented??
