They were in all areas of the game. PvE areas to RvR lakes, it wasn't restricted.geezereur wrote: Mon Apr 22, 2019 10:32 am 6 hours dident find a single egg maybe because i was only looking in the active rvr zones lol.

However, this confirmed to me, that while I guess its enjoyable for some, egg hunting isn't worth it for me as a PVP oriented player. You would have received better rewards in doing TOVL, searching, or some other content on live. I have yet to hear from anybody - "man look at that armor color, I gotta have it". I wouldn't be surprised if have the players graphics cards can't even render that many colors! lol
This also points out that for fortune armor being as rare as it is - that it should be some of the best in the game and it's not. Moreover, it's not even the best looking for Magus class.
I am a big explorer so this helped me out immensely - I would say that Marshes of Madness had the most interesting location SE of the map with the swirling Mourkain Tower not marked on the map. I got a lot of good screenshots in and I helped gather groups for some Wyvern Matriarch slaying which brought awareness. And I agree with your last line, the system was good for finding the eggs. Once an egg was found, the scent of one would disappear so you would know there were none left in the area. Thank you for providing an event for the holidayNoRKaLKiLLa wrote: Mon Apr 22, 2019 5:19 pm I'd say it played out exactly how I wanted; most people played like business as usual, a lot of people explored the old world where they hadn't ever been before, a few people happened upon some items of considerable monetary value, and everyone had a wtf moment when they saw someone cruising around on a wyvern. But most importantly I was able to push this event with the help of Hargrim and support from the rest of the team without catastrophically breaking the entire server. Happy Easter.
yes, but not perma cool mount.... shame on youNoRKaLKiLLa wrote: Mon Apr 22, 2019 5:19 pm Think bigger picture, beyond "what do I want for myself out of this?" Keeping in mind the finite time this event or any other is in effect, and with it the limited number of players who will be able to or decide to partake in it. Do you want a reward that provides you an inarguable statistical advantage over players who either couldn't or didn't participate? Do you want to be forced to participate in something other than pvp for an entire weekend just not to be out geared by someone who stayed awake all weekend? Do you want gold to become valueless due to players vendoring 5 million gold into the economy in a couple days? I don't want any of that. I want players to be able to do what they want when they log in, be it pug scub the gates, fight in CW in comms with their friends, collide warbands in
the lakes or, in this instance, hunt for eggs with no idea what's in them and end up with a bunch of consumables and a chance at something rare which doesn't shift the balance in pvp or the economy.
