I wouldn't run Swell of Gloom unless you got a pocket healer. I would replace it by Frozen Fury. Frozen Touch procs on almost all direct dmg hits add up over time.

True, I was speced for swell, but unless I had a pocket healer, I didn't slot it , same as BW Funnel Power,

You could do the BW, burst damage from nowere build, on Sorc aswell. It's not even half as decent due to the lack if tactics and skills BW have, but it's possible. (You REALLY need to assist other dps to kill with this build)

Your rotation will be: Doombolt (or Arctic Blast)-Gloomburst(or Arctic Blast)-Hand of Ruin (1 tick) Impending Doom (and Echo of Power if proced)

You kinda need to adapt to the situation. If melee gets close to you, spam Doombolt and Finish with Gloomburst and Impending Doom.
