I started thinking I was pathetic when I was apparently only fighting 1 other person on the second floor near the middle. Another time I noticed a healer running around casting aoe heals by themself under the second floor. I was baffled. Then one day I realized, they're casting aoe heals thru the ceiling and floor and they teammates are being healed...
I have asked other rank 40's if it's true that you can cast groups heals thru floors and ceilings and they said yes. My question is why? Why do we want healers a floor below their teammates healing them thru ceilings and floors? IMO, it's ridiculous.
My suggestion is to make it so they can't do that. IMO, you should have to see the person if you're going to cast on them.

I agree. Does't make sense does it?
I mean, Archmages should be able to obliterate entire warbands if they deemeed necessary with just a calm wave of their hands just like they do in real life. They needed a SERIOUS buff, screw balance and enjoyment! We want realism! None of this healing through floors junk.

Skullgrin - Sounds rough in some spots. Thanks for info tho, good to know it's a code thing that's kinda set it stone.
Martok - I never thought about it that way lol. There are forces that act through walls, like gravity, so why wouldn't healing? Haha.

Saupreusse - Ah ok from the way you make it sound it would just take a bit of time, and we know they have other things on the list.
Tanithscout - lol idk about all that. Most mmo's I've played, not all tho like Everquest, want line of sight. I played Everquest for years and lived with it, died from it.

I dont want to derail this but I personaly like my AoE healing on my healer!!
Whats is real "frustrating" is the Rain of Fire by BW that goes throught floor(s) and such, that the real pain.
