usually when something get told enough from multiple source (note this multiple source)is most likely true, moreover at this point even try the old internal client lock for a min of 4h can only help with this even if ppl can bypass it with second accounts (bandaids are still better than no final solution get found).

Just let them play how and what they want to play- otherwise you won;t have anyone to play with.
