So did some more testing, with some help from my friend panodil on his DoK.

set up looked as fallowed;

Equal and same pieces of gear (3x Dom, 2x Merc & Helm of fist)
Weapon was SC ones 39/39
4 piece warrior set + 1x Harbinger jewel

Full dps speccs both renown, mastery & tactics aswell.

3minutes of Auto attacks on the test dummies (No prayer/covenent on)

Result are as fallowed;

So what we do see here stright away is that the DoK do more total damage, ~17% as i said in a previus post. And also more dps/sec, Only thing the Wp do better is the single hit according to the spreed sheet. Now, we do need to think about the off hand from the DoK wich dont show here so the diff is not as big (If any tbh). Offhand has a procc chance of 46% if what i have read is correct, so that extra dmg from offhand and a more rapid speed in generall generate more dmg over time and also from time to time harder hits (Main hand + off hand in the same gcd) then what a 2h from a Wp can do.

You can already test this by keeping all your gear, just buy 2h and 2x1h weapons for classes like choppa.
Rank 5 weapons have exactly the same attributes on them for 2x 1h and 2h.
Weapon dps is 17,4 and 12,0.

Dual wield gives 25-30% more DPS in this setup.

and 45% of the time dw has larger timestamped AAs defeating the main argument in 2h's favor.

dw gives 10% parry vs 2h's 10% block strikethrough.

Proc rate of two 5%s is better than one 10%.

Yeah its an issue on non tanks. One that increases in disparity the more strength you have over your target's toughness.

so DoK did more than twice as many attacks than WP even with AA speed tactic on WP, even with WP doing more than double damage of single attack from DoK he still did more damage, seems like most of additional damage came from procs

question is, do we really wanna mirror it ? as far i know, it was always known that DOK better on Attack (DPS), WP better at Defense (HEAL)

No, I dont want to mirror it. never wanted anything like that or a "nerf" for DoK. Think the DoK is fine where it is, What i would like to see change is a small buff to 2h (Not tanks tbh). so w/e weapon a wp,slayer,choppa could use, takeing a 2h over 2x 1h atm is just selliing your self short. Unless there is some abilities that have the requerment of a 2h wich has very good tooltip dmg. So my suggestion is just simply bump up the dps for those weapons, not every weapon maybe but what may be relevant for a lvl 40(doing a complete overhal i think is a very big task)... So subjegator and 39/39 and up, also adding some strength (as example) to them just to match 2x 1h would be fair i would say.

can you test out if the damage on an offhand weapon is the same as a mainhand ? - just dps a minute or two with offhand and use the same weapon in main and see if there is a diffrence or if its the same. An offhand should never be as strong as a main hand should it ? Also changeing that would not change any skills for duelwielding. Since the dps of a weapon means nothing when it comes to skills only "str." seems to matter.

I guess you mean that the swing rate of offhand is 50% slower than mainhand, as a proc chance of 50% could mean it could hit several times in a row together with mainhand.
