Return of Reckoning

Tried again today to log in. about 5 sec in game it crashes and give me this error-message
The above happend to my Zealot. Standing in Praag at the postern of the southern keep. Everytime I logged in on him I got the disconnect. After some attempts I managed to port to the vipers pit. Running around there, no problem. Flying to Talabec, entering RvR Zone, no problem. Flying back to Praag. No problem....until! I reach the area RvR-area around the southern keep. As soon as I'm rvr-flagged -> disconnect, with error- meassage above

Did some more testing on my other chars. It seems that as soon as I get in reach of a BO I get the dc. On keeps appenrently it's more random. Even with deactivated addons, regardless of char-lvl or zone.

Can you try this.

Start the launcher, when the connect button lights up.
Go into the 'miles' folder in your warhammer install and delete 'mssmp3.asi' and then click connect.

The launcher will download the file every time but try it out.

Tried and it works^^
Only did a short test at some BOs but no dc so far.

So only 1 person i know had this issue. It seems like before some peoples installation didnt have mssmp3.asi. This appears to be the mp3 decoder (used for in game music). So removing this file stops music playing (could you double check). The crash happens when music starts playing in game (scenarios are one area we noticed).

I wish i could reproduce the issue to try and do a proper fix.

The music disappears indeed. Leaving the asi-file active, sometimes I got a soundbug, kind of a rhythmic ticking, after entering rvr e.g.

Got no clue why this started. As I said before I got a new installation due to a dead HD. Maybe because I downloaded it entirely via client? ^^
