does that mean if i didn't play for a long time and came back later my char will be gone too ;x

There was a wipe of unplayed chars over 2 years ago. Devs said on few occasions that they are not planning any more wipes so

Just log in once a month and you should be fine.

I believe it's just into your account- but one character should suffice.
The wipe was only for "accounts that have been inactive for 2-3 months-" meaning they haven't been logged into.
