If noone's willing to do that, I guess it's a case of riding that AAO. You can't fix a player mentality issue.
when there was 100 destro vs 170 order , TUPs were on order

Mmm. Whilst I found it annoying having allied guilds X realming. It potentially allowed the player base to balance out. If that was the case however I never really experienced it. Generally I found guilds like TUP joining the dominant side for EZ kills.

Phalanx always preferred to play on the side with the lesser amount of numbers, going so far as to play with super-undergeared, mara warband with newer members. I can't speak for TUP though

No no! #2498!
But I've been playing for over a year and I just don't remember the pop balance and ORVR dominance being this bad. Generally it was Destro dominating for a week, then order, back and forth. Now it seems we're just getting dominated, even in Guild WB's. Gotta say it's just frustrating .
it's summer, the server pop is always wonky. possibly the russian destro swinging things, but i personally haven't sat down and played properly in a couple months. client control has just happened, today's patch shows the possibilities of it. people will return once summer is over and things will balance themselves out. they always do

well I truly hope you enjoy current situation of us not helping Order. ;)
(and our infamous pugtrain following would pursue us across the realms just to get some solid meatshield so they can pug in safety behind our tankline...) [original reason for us even trying Order was because Destro had been dominating for months, so we thought we could finally get good fights with AAO, alas the pugs followed]

anyway, play solo gank with 200 AAO, get 5k renown per kill, do a dozen kills and wait for bag in mail, AAO is lovely.
best possible hunting season is just now if you playing a WL :D

i was a destro since live and im a destro in my heart <3
when i started here it was kinda 50/50 pop, since i returned after a few months break i switched to order because of low pop and i love having aao 24/7.
but currently its getting kinda insane to numbers like 300-400% aao. prime time 20-80 aao. problem is we dont have those massiv guilds (in numbers) who switch the sides, or even well known guilds/6mans prefer to farm an enemy who is outnumbered with 400% aao.
i`ll stay at the underdog, but i understand the ppl who completely leave the game and so on, because its no fun anymore to try something against those heavy number destro blobs.

From the lore's point of view, it's great - destro is everywhere and order is fighting for their last life.

From the player's perspective - it's terrible, and been like this for a long time.

Besides from having order a few weeks at the beginning of this year, for the last 12 months destro is dominating in numbers, and now up to the point that even organized guild warbands can't do anything. And no, you can't really do anything solo/small group either because suddenly 2-3 full destro warband appears everywhere in middle of every fight. This of course makes people lose interest asap, so they log, the aao grows, empty keeps, etc..

Also, recent class changes don't help with the situation: squig herder gets cool revamp, black orc gets interesting new skills... and slayer gets nerfed... this just puts more depressing pressure to the side that already lost their morale (in real life).

Try to get more organized as a realm and you can pretty easily turn the tide. It's almoast always as attittude thing and not a population issue.
