-Leveling is really easy - used to be half rr after 40 - now its not.
-At rank 16 you can join the endgame RvR already - used to be PvE only due to deserted zones.
-Getting the best gear is really easy nowadays - i remember when there were no bonus points to
the rolls and genesis was in purple bags.
My gripe is rather capped progress. No new sets. No renown points after 80.

Re: Point of Career levels?
Levelling in rvr, especially in warbands, is slow. SC on the other hand give good xp on victory and you can combine them with pve farming.
The core problem here, most rank 16-30 players join rvr warbands and therefore don't queue for sc, what results in long queue times for those few players, who want to progress faster.
It is an entirely player-made problem. Maybe they don't know or they actually have fun in rvr, all valid reasons, but at the same time many of them would like to rank up faster.
It is a conflict and you can't force players to choose either side but some incentives to queue for sc might increase midtier sc pop.
Afaik 2man groups, albeit being in solo queue, have fewer pops than true solo players. This makes grouping in midtier pool almost impossible.

Dying is no option.
Re: Point of Career levels?
PQ's are really great way to level. Scenarios too, but I think the xp gain should be doubled there (even when you lose, you should get some minimum xp). Renown etc.. are fine. More xp should be added for orvr kills (I think a player should worth at least the same as a PQ mob!).
I think the xp rate at the recent event was great. Renown was a bit overkill and Inf was way too much/easy.
Another idea: if your account have a level 40 character you get permanent rested xp status on your new characters forever. That would help a lot, too.

I think this idea has a lot of potential, but could use some more thoughts/suggestions :kmark101 wrote: Tue Jul 31, 2018 7:31 pm Another idea: if your account have a level 40 character you get permanent rested xp status on your new characters forever. That would help a lot, too.
A buff when you have at least one level 40 seems to me a good idea, maybe something incremental, one level 40, x1.5xp, two level 40, x2xp, etc.

Some experience gaining tweaks are in the works, your feedback hasn't fallen on deaf ears. Stand by for friday's patch, and as always remain open minded and allow for implemented changes to be observed, tweaked and fine-tuned.

Minimum XP in SCs sounds like a good thing- it would definitely help with those one-sided matches where you don't have tanks or heals, but might potentially lead to more "AFKs" and leeches. Give them an inch... they take a mile.
Getting some gear is easy- getting SC gear is an entirely different beast.Bowldancer wrote: Tue Jul 31, 2018 5:46 pm -Leveling is really easy - used to be half rr after 40 - now its not.

Re Capped Progress:
New sets haven't been introduced because there isn't any new content and your don't get renown points after 80 because that would only add to the power gap.
I'm not sure who's in charge of designing new sets now, but I hope someone vetos them if their stats are outrageously excessive and ultimately re-introduce the power creep that was present in live.
Re: Point of Career levels?
That's good, new players shouldn't have an easy way to 40, otherwise they won't stick to the game. Easy come, easy go. So as a new player, do the painful grind, that serves the game for the long run.catholicism198 wrote: Tue Jul 31, 2018 8:05 pm That would help with rerolls and alts, but not with encouraging new players to er- play- which is what is most important.

Re: Point of Career levels?
That has got to be one of the most asinine things I've ever read on this forum. This game needs new players- Every MMO needs new players...kmark101 wrote: Tue Jul 31, 2018 8:09 pmThat's good, new players shouldn't have an easy way to 40, otherwise they won't stick to the game. It shouldn't be easy, but it shouldn't feel as tedious as it does now.

Re: Point of Career levels?
Leveling 1- 40 is nothing and no problem compared to grinding endgame set or endgame sc weapon.
To the OP: sticking to one toon and one server usually helps in leveling.
Making another lowbie toon after another one is like making another such topic here.
In mine experience here i know how u rly treat advices in game so il just ask:
Whats the point?
