A joke is lifetap spec for damage builds. Apart from resist debuff and silence you use 2 mastery trees only for healing spec.

Average wanna be shaman dps try to play shaman dps as the am , ie dots dots and lifetaps or gorks. Shaman dps never worked using the dots. unless we count t1-t2-t3.

On t4 shaman dps works on a nuke rotation based similar to sorc , and is quite bursty at it , but no many play it properly since for most part people try to play the dot card, is a simialr case to amgus dot players wich untill recently they found they have a great ST rotation and than dot spam wasnt the key of succes, the same happens with shaman . very few play them good as dps.
