It also comes down to everyone else doing the right thing in terms of aggro management.
You can play perfectly as a pve tank but you can't help it when some healer is mashing their group heal and steals the lord off you. This usually forces you to blow a taunt to try to grab the lord back which can screw you over for when you need a guaranteed interrupt (BO only has 1 interrupt since RiDJ doesn't work yet).
Zoggof - Black Orc
Doinks - Ironbreaker
Leatherman - Blackguard

Good guide.

In addition to the fixed amount of aggro generated by Taunt, the taunt debuff on live also used to force mob focus until three hits knocked it off. Tested this with my SM. Good for pulls, mostly irrelevant for static tanking (even with ridiculous avoidance).

I think Azarael made it so the mob did not actually have to do damage, just swing three times, but I haven't tested this for ages and I don't know if anything has changed since then.

Always let your main tank pull aggro and beat on it for 5-10 seconds, or as long as that tank can stay about 25% health, before anyone else does ANYTHING besides a healer doing instant-single target heals. This'll allow your main tank to build aggro and get a whopping head start on everyone else.

good guide.

Questions:

1. For a KotBS with Runefang, Menace, and Focused Mending Tactics slotted, What would you recommend for the 4th tactic when Main Tanking CH22 PvE Bosses? I spec for and usually slot Coordination for the 15% parry buff from Shield Rush, but was wondering what, if any, combinations work better.

2. For a KotBS with Runefang, my "cold" chance to be crit is around 3.6%. I do not know if Runefang proc brings me down to 0% or not. At RR50, should I forgo some RR points for Block and get the next level of -% Chance to be Crit? Or am I ok relying on Runefang and cross guardinging the other tank for +240 Init?

Depends on what your initiative is before runefang proc. If you have 400 initiative already 240 more might not get you the extra 3.6% you need. (This is unlikely for kotbs but you never know)

Plug your info into my initiative calculator to get your number

Personally i would not rely on Runefang to reach crit immunity considering how important it is and the fact that the ch22 lords have + crit by themselfs, so you would rather need 0% (preferably even a few % more) AND runefang all things considered.
