I don't think the individual was using potions, also didn't use any during the fight it appeared. I'll take any white lion kill I can get though But yes, choppa OP ya heard it from Needabeer first folks!

Just sad solo play is lately only about Fleshrender rings aka deftardness / regen thing.
You're not using the parry/riposte trick, but still...
I'm not sure attrition builds are much better or ''skilled'' than riposte builds as you may suggest in the title
. (might be worst, at least with riposte you have to face the opponent... regen is regen)

I'm using longer and stronger tactic, and flesh render jewels. I think you might over estimate their effectiveness. with all their awesome power and even annihilator chest piece I regen 53 health every second, the armor pen reduction is really nice though.
I also have low resists because I run these rings, and lower strength/weapon skill. They sound so awesome though, I can't help but use them, even in groups xD Thank you for watching and sharing what you think
