Return of Reckoning

I had the exact same problem and tried all the things in this thread. That didn't help, but now it works. All I did was rename the folder from "Warhammer Online - Return of Reckoning" to something shorter like "Warhammer Online".... boom. No more error after the updater starts, and even the changelog section is rendering actual text and images (it used to just be some html dumped in there). Hope that helps.

I had the same issue - ran as administrator and the manifest is being updated as I type!

just updated for the event, but didnt double check to see if there was another update after it finishes. When i logged into game i have no ability names or tactic names.

If I run the updater gives me the same error as the OG poster; running launcher wont patch and i still have the same issue with abilities and such. doesnt matter if i run admin or not. or change the folder name.
