Get better tanks? Lord won't target DPS if DPS is not attacking him.

I was in a pug wb in this battle , might of been a bitbefore or a bit after the premade warbands the others speak of . Anyway boss was going ape **** downstairs , as a tank I got hold of him and managed to get him back up stairs , was holding aggro fine with my group , however every so often he would warp through walls and floors and kill people downstairs then come back . I am not sure it was a tanking issue , and it was only my 6 man party in the wb attacking him so what was causing him to warp around ? Previous aggro ? Me being a bad tank ? Not sure I think he seemed very buggy if I’m honest and I’m the first to admit if I am bad

He was chasing healers that were casting aoe heals on the targets he had on the aggro list.

Also, bugged is not the correcr word - NPCs doesn't respect the walls nor floors that much, so when he need to go to the new target he just goes there shortest possible way.

We can ofc always disable healing aggro for lords.

Healers on bottom had to heal people on his aggro list to get on the aggro list themselves.

Ok to elaborate on the situation I was in , basically I was originally holding ground floor , another wb was on boss , we were getting over run , so lord wb came down to help ( again not sure if it was same scenario and time as op ) . They stayed ground floor and lord care with them . After some time my wb decided for my party to pull lord back up to try stop him causing havoc .... so the aggro u speaking of on the healers was from the original lord room wb ? If so it means they can’t come down to help if we are being over run ? I guess from this scenario they should of gone back up to fight lord not my wb ?

To tanking better? One of the knights in our guild consistently holds aggro for long periods of time. He's 2h and just spams aggro stealing abilities... it's a short guide, but it'll do.

Do the +hate tactics work? Menace, et. al

This is what I suspected happened. When Destru pushed lower, some of the players who were on the keep lord went downstairs to help out. This caused the warping and the messed up aggro table.

To answer your question; Yes. If you are on the keep lord, You cannot "help" until the enemy is on your floor and you can attack them attacking you. That said, if the enemy gets through your 1st floor defenses en mass, there is no helping. The 25% damage increase debuff the keep lord puts out is easily leveraged by the enemy to time their push and wipe the WB on the Keep Lord.

Here's more info about what I remember happened during those many attempts at that keep.
- I remember staying bot and healing then I hear on TS the tank who is tanking the lord says lord has disappeared, next thing I know lord is bottom killing someone. After said someone is killed, lord ports back on 2nd floor and goes back to the tank who was originally tanking him. After we res the killed person on 1st floor, couple of seconds later lord goes back down and kills the same person and then goes back up on 2nd floor.
- One attempt, TUP was bottom and CNTK was on lord, TUP never even went to 2nd floor upon pushing into the keep, only CNTK did. After fighting the lord for some time, he just went down and killed few members of TUP and then went back up to CNTK wb.

This is my experience from that keep from that night. If I have to be honest, when I red the changes to the keep lord from these patch notes I was thinking that these changes are good and it would be really interesting to play about them, but as Delcon said - it could use some tweaking, so it would work as it was intended.
