Well, my IB is pretty much decked out but still doing supertiny damage due to all damaging abilities are physical and everyone is equipped with armor talis to the roof.
At least with Kotbs some of your skills do elemental damage and precision strike has 25% armor ignore by default.

You got a decent armor debuff, and a weapon skill buff. You'll never be SM levels of damage, but I find 2h IB at least to do pretty good damagewise. Its hard to say anything bad about have at least 1 knight in a group. They are good, but so are most things if played well.
Knight is kind of boring to play imo, go IB.
