Tanks can be one of the most fun classes in the game; superpunt in tor anroc, SM has awesome wings of heaven m2 and does a bunch of damage, crossguarding.. there are options..

I stopped reading after you said that no one hits tanks, because that's actually all people ever hit.....

From the bits that I did read, you sound like an r12 that ran into a t2+ lake expecting to faceroll everyone.
Kobts and IB both do tremendous damage for tanks with tons of survive-abilities and cc and damage and etc.

Tanks are just Bad if you Play like a braindead Zombie, but thats Not an Class Issue, just issue of Players.

The Server really Need more (good) Tanks, most here Lack in uses Brain.....

As a tank and healer myself, I like the way tanks play in the PvP trinity, overall speaking. That said I also believe there are a few things worth improving. "Guard", for instance, need two clicks to be swapped to a different target, one click to disable/remove it, one to reapply. One click should be enough to swap "Guard" targets in the thick of a fight. Debuffing enemies and group protection could also be improved. "Challenge", for example, is gone the moment you are hit. Making it work for a certain period of time after tank is first hit, or after tank is hit a number of times (say, 3 or 5 times) would make it way more useful and harder to counter. Tank snares can too easily be disrupted or avoided. A more successful snare, even if not guaranteed, would be much more useful while playing in the open field. I believe both posts above have valid points. Tanks are not useless at all at the moment. They do play an important role in any party or warband. But it's also undeniable that tanks are the least ones to draw focus fire or attention with their current set of abilities and passives. Having tanks more actively and successfully disrupt, prevent, mitigate enemies actions, and by doing so attract the enemy's attention, would make tank classes more useful and even more fun to play. My two cents.

God, just imagine if 1/10th of the tanks on this server actually realized how to use Interrupts...
