ITs not overly complex or hard, its just dumb.
You cannot get better at it, the only thing you can do is hope this time there isnt an idiot who resets it because, and this is the real kicker, he happens to do exactly what common sense dictates he should do.
And everything would be solved if they just let proper tanks hold aggro of it, currently is impossible to do it, so you just see how "Jimmy" the 2h wp who discovered about book regen yesterday and is trying his best to help, joined the pug wb and is spamming group heal while standing on the ramp.
So he has to do what anyone with half a brain wouldnt do, stack in the middle and wait for spikes he doesnt know about before healing at all, dont ever run if he gets aggro and just die.
A good group cannot control it, a good group cannot overcome how bad everyone else is, so people just goes to the lord room, afks for a while and hopes this time, serendipity dictates that is not the day where you get 6 resets in a row into a double wipe that ruins 2-3 hours of fighting for the zone.
But hey, some dev will come and tell you that they cannot fix stupid, they can fix all those things i mentioned and make a decent fight but why would they when they can just blame some idiot and move on.

Question does the server remember who reset the lord if that player logs off or DC's?
Or are they removed from the agro pool/lords black list by disconnecting?

The lord speaks in /say when it targets someone. You can just take a screenshot?
Or am I mistaken in what that /say spam from the Lord is?
Somewhat separate, I remember in Live and even this server, prior to the door going down there would be a nice list of instructions in /2. Who is tanking lord, careful you don’t do X, group Y can you hold bottom? Etc.
Ignorance sucks. But you can try to educate people before the issue arises, especially if it occurs frequently.
Note: yes I am one of those that gets a little salty due to people AFKing and not paying attention. But that’s why you gotta speak up in /2 and offer what you consider to be the best advice, mildly politely.
And if it’s someone trolling, then take a SS.
Lastly, not all keep takes are supposed to be successful. Saying that a failed keep take is a waste of time, is ludicrous. We have a Draw timer, we don’t experience 39hr KV locks anymore, and your RR, loot, bag get mailed to you if you have to log out early....

It's annoying because there is practically no counterplay, and completely goes against the reason for being in RVR in the first place.
Yes, I understand that over healing causes aggro. I also know that 1) some classes, like WP, excel at group healing, 2) not every one of your group members is going to be less than 100% every time you group heal, and 3) no competent healer is going to stop group healing in a keep siege.

I didn’t mean you can tank the lord. I meant, and said, that there has been broad communication on duties and what you should NOT do prior to door dropping. Instead of tanking lord, say maybe My WB will handle lord everyone else stay downstairs and defend! Or just spam the do’s and don’ts of modern day RoR keep fights.
Honestly, other than having the Aggro for group heals, what other counter against having the healers stand on third and grp heal the entiregroup with little to no risk is there?
Personally, I preferred the lord that could wipe a wb if improperly held, but that 1 group could hold if need be. But even then, one nerd using a 2h taunt prof weapon and he Lord goes for a walk... I think this might be the “best” system atm. It’ll never be perfect, and it is a lot better than being able to ninja a keep without even dropping the doors on Live...

I know what you mean by communicating. My main point is that tanks can no longer do their job with a Lord. If it was tweaked to allow them to do their job again, I wouldn't have an issue.. because then a competent tank can hold aggro and you won't have to worry about the derp healer resetting

Even if everyone plays appropriate mechanics, with the new super Lords we see to be facing, there doesn't seem to be a game play objective in having 5 WBs taking 40 minutes to bring down a Lord (today in BV). Many people are just getting bored getting carpal tunnel for no particular game objective, unless I missed something earlier.
