You need to turn off the main shield for the Antivirus. If you have W8 i cant help but in W7 if you look for the small indicator on the bottom right corner if you look for the avast symbol Right click the program and select Shield Controll and turn them all off for an hour if you see this just do that then go re-install the launcher you should not have any problems in the future for i have not had any ATM

If someone can post a screenshot detailing what to do it would be really cool.

I had same problem with Bitdefender and Chrome Adblocker. What I did was.

- start Windows in Safe Mode (with network)
- start Internet Explorer
- Then I could download the Patcher
- Extract patcher to the War map
- Reboot Windows
- Afvter reboot immediately add the Patcher to the AV ignore list. And set Admin rights and Win XP/Vista compatability
- Bang, it worked

Hello I have the same problem when I run my anti virus launcher blocks like malaware so it removes the direct me so after I cut my anti virus to re-download the launcher once download and delivered in the war file I reactivated my anti virus I did a full scan on my pc and it decte me anything I said youpie his rule and when I want to play again restarts the curse that hangs because malaware puije done to rule it without my anti virus disables thank you in advance for your reply

Rexsuar it works but if u turn shield on again,the file removed in 1 sec lol. so you have 2 keep the shield off all the time or wtf?

As soon as i Turn the sheild back on while in the game it works if you need to keep it off while your on and when your not playing turn it back on

have same hire launcher delete after clik , offantyvir and download launcher again should work

Wow so many weird "fixes". People...its easy. Use another browser other than Chrome to download it. Before doing so turn off your antivirus. And that's it.

That is it.

Add an exception for the antivirus to not scan that folder because obviously when you start the antivirus again it will find it if it has active virus control.

I read about someone starting in safe mode to blabla. I mean like wow wtf??? That's way too much!
