I don't know, would it hurt if Genesis pieces were also available at 2000 conqeror medals each? Would make no difference in the speed of acquiring them for most, but at the same time it would remove those one or two completely tilted individuals who can't get the piece they need. As someone who did win 21 coinflips in a row, I can appreciate how fickle chance can be.
I do appreciate dev time is precious, but if it's not a big time investment to make this happen it would certainly do no harm to the genesis economy.

Hi everyone,
apart from only a few posts from players that did not receive their _exspected_ reward the new contribution system seems to work fine now, imho.
After first locks with no to few rewards and progression the bags now flow in a proper manner, so after a green there has been a gold one, blue one, white one, etc.
RR apart from that seems kinda low at times, at least for zone lock, e.g. yesterday for 2 hours Praag (joined while active, blue bag) like 4k and 1.5 hours Reikland (from the start, white bag) like 3k, but with both like 30k for kills/roam is still feels alright.
So maybe the contribution system needed time to build up numbers.
I will still miss the easy gain of Conq/Gen on lower levels but agree that is has been too easy even with doubles.
Dunno why many people have problems with leveling in RvR, I even used XP reduction scrolls to keep my RR above XP, hit 40 with RR 55 this way and run full Conq now, next step will be Overlord/Imperator, just 22 Seals missing atm.
Sure it depends on how bolster affects oneself's class, but at least as heal it is no problem at all.

System now is almost perfect ,in fact since you get a bonus on all the bags some might say too easy to get gear now.
Duplicates and some items being rare are part if MMOs.
Lastly why are people so fixated on the bags? I took my RR41 WL and did only RvR til RR55 and only won one gold bag yet I had enough conq medals to buy all the pieces , after I started working on my sce weapon and took me from rr55 to rr64 to get since I on my pug. Now I still have rr64-rr80 with BIS gear and weapon , I was not worried that I wasn't winning bags.
All I'm saying is have fun and just play the game , you will have enough medals eventually to get Your gear and you will win enough bags to get your genesis.

It is not too easy to get gear now. Who knows about arguments for it getting easier, but it sure as hell does not need to be anymore difficult. Getting geared is more difficult for tanks than dps and playing the all so necessary guardbot/HTL spammer tank will not get near as many kills as a dps. So without bags we do have a way to get medals near as fast and not all of us know a dependable 6 man to roam with and not all of us enjoy ganking random solo players.

Right. You can't really say, "I played a solo WL and rolled in bags and medallions. This system is great!" while ignoring warband tanks & healers who get jack most of the time.

Its mostly rdps with decent aoe for the pug warband, people than can solo in their class or as said, people who have a group who are getting geared in decent amount of time.
Anyone playing a mdps, helears, tanks and even some rdps is relying entirely on luck that may mean you wont see your char in full conq, nevermind genesis and the other candy, for months.
But because there is this guys that are getting geared fast then the average joe has to eat ****.

I mean, I never said make it easier to get gear
just that i think we can all agree its annoying to get a dupe of a piece of gear x2 + while you still need other pieces after X hours spent in RvR
I want there to be the same chance to get conq and purple bags (and genesis) as there is now, just stop people getting duplicates as I think we can all agree it's **** and annoying to get x2+ duplicates of a piece of gear that's not exactly ultra easy to get (especially if 6 people in party need that gear) or even speaking about purple bags or blues which is arguably more rare to get the pieces you want and non duplicates
its easier to get conq gear this way since people will be buying the most expensive pieces of gear first, but this can be countered by having a currency for conq (like ruin)

As a quick aside what is en every bag atm? I've been out a while and am still trying to get orientated with the new changes.

Depends on your RR. 41+ get the "normal": conq, subj, genesis, green jewelry set, white jewelry set (Marks and stuff).
30-40 get Anni in gold, and the other bags have some decent gear for your RR (but not great if your rank is higher than your RR).
A token system for RVR would help a lot. People wouldn't get frustrated with duplicates, you'd have some choice with what you want, and it could be changed to allow lower rank players to build enough tokens towards end game gear (rank 20-29 gives dev gear in gold bags, or a blue token, which you can trade for a genesis, or 3 blues gets you a purple token, or 6 blues gets you a gold token; rank 30-39 gives anni in gold bags, or a purple token, which you can trade for subj, or 2 purples gets you a conq, etc. etc.)
