All the angry returning players complained that they weren't alerted to the wipe. If the mass email notification system functioned properly this time around and the team gave people a weeks warning before inactive, t1 characters were wiped I think that'd silence the angry threads, clear up rows of character data in the database and allow Elaine to be recovered. However I'm going to be spamming the character create screen to get the character first and I'll kindly sell it to you for 500gold. Better start farming.

I've worked in customer service long enough to know this will not stop any of the angry threads.
