Yes, since Slayer/BW can deal the most aoe damage, with a magnet engy for good measure, it's seen as the best method of deploying order warbands since the expert skirmisher nerf on SW.

You run two for 100% uptime on shatter limbs.

Yea pretty much the basic rdps+mdps+utility comp.

Well high aoe pressure + utility is really good tbh and BWs need a proper frontline to bomb from range. Only thing is they shine in organized wbs and there are very few of that on order.

still curious how many dps can slayer deal aoe spec, in that comp with procs?, for exemple (even if done at eye) 70% of bw dps? more? less?

I would say around %60ish, but they are much more reliable, no need a target for aoe + rampage. On bw main aoe dps abilities require target(Fiery blast, FBB) and its getting disrupted quite often

Slayers are crippled by range pretty heavily and they shine the most during keep sieges and when chasing the already broken enemy.

So if we look at it that way, they might be dealing like 50% of what bw/sorc is able to consistently dish out.

Slayer AoE dps were heavily crippled due to AoE proc nerfs. ID, Flurry every 1-2 sec generated alot of extra dmg with BW and WP in the group.
There's still some utillity of having mdps as it bypasses HTL however. And undefendeble SL and AP buff is good utillity aswell. Theres some merit to run them in a few numbers.

it started with 6v6... and the busted party come back with 12 man vs 6... and now we are watching videos of massive zerg's just useing the same 3-5 skills... :?
Just laughing when i run away with my WH and 24 man jump arround using AoE skills, greedy for that 1 medall

at least you killed 'em, but i love 6vXX much more, when the IB need to use 20+ different ability, and is not just used as guardbot. Maybe you turned off friendly buffs, but i only saw oathfirend and guard on you.... and no other of the 10k IB buffs :D .. :?: :?:

i also image that maruaders are what reduces the number of melee into any wb orderside (or wl/sw/eng), 100% armor pen redution mean any melee attack gona do very few dmg , the only way to have reliable dmg is with rampage since it gona at least go trought the parry walls or go into the magic casters.

feel like mara/slay balanced out in def vs off capcity. slay/squig get the CD increase sheningans, BW/mara have the m2 ista drop, sh are effective vs low armor(slayer) and bw bypass armor (mara mostro sheningans). I dont think there is another wb construction effective right now other than these 2.
