End game grind

So here I am, R40RR45 Slayer, full merc (full anni in the bank), about to grind out apothercary skill.

What are the strategies, things best to do endgame? Or is it just a long hard grindfest?

I'm finding the mythical gold bag hunt a bit boring. Only had 2 gold bags and second had the same conq piece as the first.

SC's seem more reliable and I was lucky to land a Subjugator so should I postpone the conq wmblem weapon grind and go for dominator gear? Bit put off by the defence focus on that.

Unless you got yourself a group, like a good greasy little midget:

Get full BL, impervious and a couple of initiative, ws and str talisman, build yourself a deftardish SL/AP drain bot and pug SCs/RvR until you get (full or atleast 4/6 or 5/6) Dominator, as many T2 SC weapons as you get and Imperator/Overlord.

By the time you get yourself both RvR sets; Imperator/Overlord, you'll likely get 4/6ish conq and 3/5ish genesis - which alltogether will be useless either way until you get atleast a trio (guard, pocketheal) going.

Your main goal will (=should, by nature of the class) ultimately be to find a semi-fix group or/and building a roster of derps to run with, so that all your online times are covered.
