1. Define and set race colors on all gear (possibly some themes for diff spec trees (should still mix well))
2. Make alt apperance rr40+
3. Make alt coloring a rr 50+ feature
4. Make all the cool colors 70+
5. Reduce armor models rr 1-40 and limit them to the simpler looks

I would probably quit if my Zealot had to look like everyone elses. My main motivation is getting the new gear to look cool. And getting the gold to dye my armour the color I want. Being unique is what people strive for. Im sure 80% of players chose their class bec they thought It looked cool. Why did I pick a WH over a WE, because I liked the aesthetic of the class more and thought when I was high lvl enough dying it all lime green would be awesome.
And from that trailer you posted. If I couldnt be the mage, or the emperor and I was stuck being 1 of the thousands of infantry look alikes I wouldnt play.

Tbh the ppl that come here despite the 2007 graphics of the game wont leave because everyone is allowed to look like a clown. Also beauty is truely subjective. What you might find pleasing to the eye doesnt have to be the same for others.

This has to be the worst idea i've ever seen on these forums
You could simply create a guild, assign each class and rank a uniform and look for others with that mindset, instead of trying to force it on others. Bitterstone Thunderers do that, and to me it seems the guild is doing great, so it's not like there's no one that has the same mindset as yours

No thanks. I like my aesthetics the way they are.
If they have no impact on gameplay, then they should be exempt.

So... you can organize and incorporate this stuff within your guild already.
I dunno kinda thinking on standardizing a shield type for rocks. But looking like a trashcan is kinda in theme with lookin like greenskinz anyway. If I picked a different race I'd probably standardize set gear so all the guild member's kinda have the same look ish.
