GameVox's platform seemed clunky compared to the alternatives. It had that awful Arial font and html from the 90s powering it. I'd be glad to be off of it.
I encourage everyone to check out Discord. It's really just a much better platform than the Twitch app (formerly Curse Voice) and combines the best of mumble with the best of IRC chat. And don't even get me started on how awful Dolby Axom was...
Discord has all the permissions you would expect from GameVox on a lightweight html5/websockets-based application. It supports chat moderation, a free open API for chat/voice, etc...
Zero reason for someone to use GameVox, Twitch app for Voice, or Dolby Axom when there are better chat alternatives out there.
Do not go with TeamSpeak. No one uses TeamSpeak anymore with Discord as stable as it is.
TeamSpeak costs money. Discord is free unless you want emojis.
