Nono, mara gets a pet wolf that instantly drains all ap, morales, 50% wounds, all ini, and fetches everyone in 100 ft range then knocks them down for 5 seconds!

Sounds balanced.

To answer the op the SH has lower base ability damage to account for pet dps, judging by the issues pets face and the upcomming changes to both the SH and the WL i suspect you wouldn't want to swap a 3rd of your damage for a pet?

Don't SH have to call a different squig for some abilities? I always understood that to be the "stances" that they had to manage, but I haven't played my SH in a year, so...

I'm not afraid of getting bored of LA since I run mass ORvR quite seldom nowadays because I got deeply disappointed in the reward system (previous and the new one) Small scale is my everything now.
Anyway if I would ever get bored of it, I would probably roll BG again. Piano master race
