I don't focus on dealing normal dmg in rvr, since as a tank there are more important roles to focus on. But skull thumper damage is certainly very big. You can for example look at the lords in keeps. Bo probably deals the most damage out of every other class. When a mass of players hits the lord, skull thumper procs for over 1k dmg per second (in giant blobs it is pribably around 2k), you just see the ticks flying. In rvr though, as I said, I don't focus much on it, but I do put skull thumpers on targets that are important. But the thing is I don't think the damage is that huge since there isn't 40 people hitting a single target. It's certainly nice damage, but it just can't beat morales, not by a long shot. In my enemy log, morales are still on top I think, I will check it on next wb.
As for our uber tank warband, yea it's slow moving, but that's why we had rift. And I think we needed at least one other rift. If building this wb again, I would take 2 maguses and maybe 2 sh or maras. They can either st focus, or assist with morales and other utility they have (like morale drain and bad gas).

Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying 8X SW is useless just nothing with countering raze bombing. Also, 8X SW gonna be melted under this combo:

You'll never catch me unless I seriously screw up my positioning. I'd have snare's for day's. Have you ran against a warband with like 12 marshes? I do the same stuff with rocks. Talk to train wreck.

Well footpatrols idea is to kite and bomb. So it should be hard for maras to get into range. But kiting with a whole wb takes some serious coordination and skill, so I doubt anyone could pull it off.

well, you have to come 40ft range if you want to kill me. otherwise you can kite till morning i don't care. but when you're in the range:
1-RD+Flee+Ap Pot+Rift
2-RD+Anti Snare+Charge
3-RD+Flee+Ap Pot+AoE Snare
4-RD+Flee+Ap Pot+ Stagger/Root
5-SH M2 / Sticky Feetz

Imo the bigger problem is the retarded cc in this game. Spammable snares, rkd etc. Tanks essentially become reduced to walking speed permanently, unless you have rd. I think there is almost no tactics involved with cc in this game, at least when it comes to snares. The nerf to bo snare was a good step, but it effectively rendered it useless, since the same nerf was not applied on order, who have 100% uptime on kotbs aoe snare.

I 100% disagree. I also 100% disagree with the BO AE snare change. The nerf to BO AE snare was a bad step. I also don't think the knight should have his aoe snare nerfed.

Is ryze really a problem overall ? I mean dodging a ryze bomb is doable. Dont think is necessary to try figure out a way to counter it.
