More and more people are choosing to leave or crash out of losing scenarios again (which I completely understand, why be farmed for 15mins when you can leave and get renown and medals in ORVR instead).
The problem with this is that it bugs the groups and pugs usually aren't smart enough to change party to fix it.

I most often encounter it at the beginning of scenarios, where it ends up being 9v12 or 6v8 or something. Can lead to the bigger team getting such a lead that smaller team can't recover. It's not that common imo but it is frustrating. It's just people dropping queue or using the full 2 minute grace period before accepting the pop

Why not just start the SC countdown timer when instance is full rather then first people enter it?
If instance not full in ~5 min it ends and automaticly re-que everyone.

well amitigation is increasing the timer before starting the sc which was asked atons of tiems alredy, increase it of 1 min and the sc will start with more balanced number.
Regarding later entry, make sc entry 2 on each side at a time instead all max avaible. this will sovle partialyl the problem.

Hey guys couldn't find a relevant topic and dint want to create a new one but with relation to the OP,i was just wondering about :
1) when i q solo doing EU prime time, i can get fast pops but however when i im a group q with guildies we dont get pops at all although there are scenarios running for others who are quing solo. What is the quing mechanic here? Can anyone advise?
2)My assumption is that the game somehow flags the grp as a premade and tries to matchmake against other premades, if so what is the minimium and maximum size of the group?

The minimum size for a group is 2, and the maximum is 6 obviously. I think the problem is that the game is trying to make balanced scs, and since you are running a perfect 2-2-2 I presume, it can't find that setup on the enemy team. So you are stuck without any pops. I recommend to leave q and queue again, sometimes it helps.

I have 3 kids, ANYTHING could happen in between pressing queue all and the pop.
