Considered at face value my answer is this. I agree with the ideal it doesn't matter which side you play if you are looking to team with good players. Both realms certainly have their share. As for the one v. one and two v. two small scale experience, it is possible to have those type of fights, but you have to look for and/or create them. Both sides have players whom you often see out on their own looking for the one v. one fight, but finding those fights often takes patience and a willingness to spend time basically hunting for those opportunities to present themselves. It is an art in this game, and for me one of the most fun aspects of the game. And for what it is worth I believe I am not the only one who feels so. There are some good Witch Elf, Magus, Chosen, and Black Orc/Choppa players you can often find out on their own, as well as other Swordmaster, KTOBS, or Witch Hunters doing the same.

There are trade-offs, of course. You won't build medallions as fast as those who stick to the warband scene, and the risk of finding the one v. zerg fight has risen of late. But still, if the small scale scene is what you are looking for it can be found.

I also agree with those who have said it can depend on finding the right players to run with. At the moment Order does seem to have more players running in small groups than Destruction does, however again there are some Destruction six mans which, when active, can totally disrupt a zone. Fun work if you can find it.
