Collateral wrote:No. That was before the DDOS. The population never recovered from it, and there's nothing you can do. People found other games in that period, and simply forgot about the server. I'm sure people will come back as the server develops and new things are released (like dungeons).
I tried also to reactivate some dwarfs that were in our old guild on life. The 226th Scharfschützen Regiment. They were playing in early t4 but then stopped. And they are also waiting for some instances to return.

Playing a Gunline on life was the horror, but going with a six dwarf through the lost vale is something I still remember fondly.

How long can play in one game? Personally I come back to play in Heroes III, after 10 years afk because finally I realized this is the best game ever.

And on this server last sunday was 850 people online, it's a lot.
But this game is too much flustrating, OP rdps **** which always have 100% cheance on target even from maximum range etc. Not possible to play without healer, etc. Not everybody enjoy Quake in warhammer reality.

Well its a team game if you want to get the most out of it. Sure u can solo but with current opposition/mechanics it is rare to get stragglers or solo player kills since population per zone is quite high.

Server is drowning in Zerg, means no population problem. Only the fun for small scale lovers is declining ever since.

I hope so, it is absolutly no fun atm. I completly like the idea of "global rvr" in the sense of combining T 2-4, but the people are just too much. I thought the goal of this server once was to break the zerg gameplay, but now its the complete opposite.

One step at a time.

I thought the goal of this server was to make the game just like it was on live, which includes massive RvR warband vs warband action, just like we had on live.
There are hundreds of good smallscale 5v5 or 6v6 team fight games out there, but there is only one Warhammer game with massive player versus player combat campaigns.

Do you really wish the game goes towards a state of things where you have maybe 20 people roaming in lakes organized into 3-5 groups fighting similar tiny groups, like it was on dying live servers before they were either merged or completely abandoned?

Our current goal is to provide something for everyone - people who like big, massive rvr and others who prefer roam and smallscale.
