I remember 2:

1) they gave us a defensive pounce (leap to a friend) so it didnt matter that much anymore if a kotbs superpunted you. You were able to immediately get back to your ally. It was awesome.

2) they improved Da Toughest! bellow, making it proc a group wounds buff (which healed your group for the same amount of gained wounds). This was kinda op (i killed a rr100 wp there with like 95% health remaining on my BO.

I played kotbs as my main and until I tried other tank classes, I didn't realize how powerful they really are. Kotbs is definitely easy mode tank.The ranged enchantment breaker was ludicrous looking back on it.

Im sure I heard they were fixing that in the last patch they were working on.

Maybe it was just wishful thinking.

Those were some awesome buffs bordering on OPness. It sucks they were never implemented.

Speaking from an order perspective and a high end 6 man perspective, BOs were only viable as a secondary dps tank. In all high end 6 mans there will be at least one Kotbs/Chosen. After that the best are the IB and BG. The long ST KDs followed by punts that were the longest (BG) and 3rd longest (IB) in the game became essential for eliminating tanks from guard range in serious fights. The lack of true CC is what really kill the BO/SM class in high end PvP. Overall they are a fun class but just lack the proper CC to be viable. The proposed changes at the end of the game would have made them much more viable, a leap to friendly target (i thought a charge but at 2x the normal speed of charge, called Bloodlust or something, for BOs would have made more sense considering a 1 ton orc flying though the air) and I believe there was one more change that I cant seem to remember

Yeah after several years they nerfed the ranged enchant break to 5ft. You could hear a million shaman waaaaagh in unison. Still had the triple tactic which was still pretty killer

There was changes to Arm Breaka, it was moved to best plan but effect I cant remember

One big advantage BO have is their debuffs arent cleansed by WP. Where Chosen and BG are. So gcleanse isnt an issue.

This is also a big drawback for SM. As they are the only tank that DoK can cleanse so tend to have their debuffs cleanse much more often.

This was one of the reasons BO made a better dps assist than SM.

Maybe this is disparity that can be rectified on this server. Switch SM and Kotbs debuff types hex with curse.
