Catho has a point, you get rather mediocre AAO % despite being outnumbered 3 to 1.

This is not how aao is calculated.
100% aao means 1:2 ratio.

From what I've experienced its like - 40 to 20 in the zone and AAO barely scratches 40%, just as an example.
When it reaches 100+ levels you have to be constantly on your toes, always watching all possible angles, pick your targets with most caution of cautions - just so you don't get overrun by a zerg marching by or a few packs of hunting RDPS.
But there's a lot of fun in chasing high AAO and I love it. I'd like to see that number increased by at least 25% or adjusted to reward a bit more RR ;)

This is a subjective impression, because not all players are at the same place, so 3:1 situations happen despite the absolute balance being quite equal.

That's how it was calculated. I've done player counts.

Hey, I'm just telling you what my impressions are from what I see in the rvr lakes, Enemy killcount and numbers from ZonePOP addons on top of that - in regards to how AAO is calculated.
It's subjective, sure, but that doesn't make it suddenly untrue, lol. I'd say it could be increased a bit for the underdog, but it's a minor thing and I can live without it.

Play the underdog side and strive to be the best you can be. Pick up all the little tricks and pieces of information you can gather and improve your plays to the point where you can manage to farm the other faction effectively no matter the imbalance in population. Now, you will probably hear a lot of "that is so op, nerfnerfnerf", but take that as a challenge to improve and beat what other players deem impossible, and after a while AAO becomes something completely different than a despair inducing mess, it becomes a rare treat for massive rewards and good, challenging fights.

its like this in t4 maybe even worse

all these lame excuses.... 6 man and farm kills yet still lose the war :lol:

but i guess if all u care for is rewards its fine

Lose the war? It has zero consequences.
With significantly lower numbers you either play better to make the opposing side log off and turn the balance 180° or you slow down the zerg but still lose the zone in the end.
You sound like having realmpride, I am sorry for you. :^)
