Introduce lvl11 cap and t2 as soon as possible.(as soon as RVR is ready)
T2 RVR will be much more fun and good alternative to current pvp wich is SC.
It will refresh the game very much!
Dont rush T2

Re: Dont rush T2
Yea, I was thinking it would be good to finish all of T1 before moving on..
If possible even small things like ToK drops.. The task will be more manageable I think this way?

If and when collision is brought back, prepare for more lag. Collision detection on a moving object is a performance killer. So many other MMO's and multiplayer games don't use it for that very reason? If it is brought back it will have a negative affect on the game and the community.OldPlayer wrote:

As cool as the idea may have seemed it was Mythic's ( and EA forcing them to launch sooner ) stubborn failure to remove collision detection sooner and fix the broken classes, that ultimately caused the game to lose 400,000 subscribers only 3 months after Warhammer launched. It went from 1.2 million copies sold, and by December 2008 the game had a little over 300,000 subscribers. I'm not blaming collision entirely on this, but performance in a game is key.
Food for thought.

Nope, collision was the reason it had the best pvp/rvr since DAoC until today. It failed for other reasons.Grolar wrote:If and when collision is brought back, prepare for more lag. Dying is no option.

Uhm no. lvl11 is still T1.Parwun wrote:Introduce lvl11 cap and t2 as soon as possible.(as soon as RVR is ready)

You need at least lvl12 to enter T2 but it makes no sense at all. The lakes are already too big without a horse, which needs lvl20.
Increasing the lvlcap to 20 and adding new skills while many of the skills up to lvl10 are broken is plain stupid.
It won't have the effect you wish and I say that as someone who wants T2 as well WHEN the basics are done.
Dying is no option.

I don't think you actually read my entire post if you came away from it with that. You also probably don't work in the computer games industry and therefore don't understand the impact player collision has on server client latency. Bottom line, IF it happens. Watch and see.

Re: Dont rush T2
Collision detection was obviously the greatest reason of lag.
Without collision detection this game is not WAR.

Re: Dont rush T2
I agree, dont rush on T2.
More important things to be fixed first.

Re: Dont rush T2
No rush indeed.
Also a fully or nearly fully fixed T1 is already more fun than any other PvP/RvR game out there anyway.

Re: Dont rush T2
I prefer an almost fixed T1 (includes fully working classes, rr gain in rvr, tactics, talis, pots, crafting, zone locks, trainers)
than a buggy T2 with unfinished keeps.
