Best players in the game (RoR server)

i vote Orcapocalypse the most laid back and Bumba the most mind tickling; Elven the most mysterious (in the way he just stands in the WC 99% of the time); Phantom the hardest to comprehend in voice chat; oh and Horsegirl - because that's one hell of a nickname.

Individual skill wasn't a huge factor. It was more about not having people to carry. Couple of crap players in a group and it was really hard even if the other 4 were good. Im sure we all had those players in the guild you really didn't need there when things got serious. There were some good solo players but the ones that looked best were those that were decent but could get another 5 decent players to build a perfect group of the right classes. Being hard enough to kick people for skill even if they are nice, which I never could, and the will to actually put together a group and manage egos, including their own. Was just as important as skill.

order

tank: thrain, mouthy but scary
mdps: with WLs so busted hard to say, godswill and chubachops stand out
ranged: flo, birdman
heals: thousandsunny, helynda. do - not - die.

destro (only played vs them a little, but opinions of them as team)

tank: destro has a ton of strong tanks, stormboy, kye, ect.
mdps: jaggernaut, absolute nightmare during my short time with order
ranged: i'm sorry i don't really pay attention to you guys, lopataa i guess
heals: queleen

tank: hard to say. Tank's skill is measured in how good they are at switching guard and using CC (snares, interrupts). Since guard is broken there are very few tanks who actually try to guard (most die in the process). As for DPS tanks, Thrain hits very hard and usually gets a lot of kills, but i dont like the way he stays in his spawn and doesnt even try if his group wipes once. There is nothing wrong with dying in a PvP game, however some people seem too concerned with their DK. So, if i have to choose, i will go with Steorra (assisting all the time and applying snares constantly to your targets, even going so far as to switch guard if you need it).
mdps: none have impressed me that much
ranged: Shy hits like a truck, and Oxsenn plays very carefully; he will stay out of your range/sight but dot you when you least expect it, which makes him dangerous if left unchecked.
heals: I already explained in the first page that, even though Sunny has huge numbers (and is certainly very good at switching targets (hard to do without a party UI)), she still dies if you put pressure on her. Unfortunately most destro prefer to attack tanks and not healers, so i can't say that i have actually seen a healer perform well when he is focused. So yeah, i guess i will also choose Sunny for now.

tank: Same as order. If i have to choose one, i'd go with Ooul.
mdps: There was this mara (Eirsenewar or something like that) who seemed to be in love with my SW, always going after me. With support he was super annoying. Without it he wasn't that much of a threat though... but i guess same can be said about everyone (in a group game).
ranged: none have impressed me that much. In SCs I usually do better on my SH than any other rdps (Sorcs might out-dps me if they are spamming SS, but i usually get more dbs than any of them).
heals: same as order. If i have to choose one, Queleen.

Ahh, I forgot to mention the guy that stayed online the other night even through an earthquake in his city. Think it was Juggernaut, that guy has the biggest set of boulders I have ever witnessed.

I remember playing the game one morning a couple of years ago. We were running around with Noki - one of the most talented players I've ever played with. Suddenly he goes 'er... all of my windows just shattered' and logs in several moments.
I played some more and logged out too, turned on the TV and on the news they were telling about the Chelyabinsk meteor.

Best runepriest: thousandsunny

Only because destro are too stupid to attack healers. When i put pressure on her with my SH she usually continues to heal her group and forgets to heal herself , dying most of the time. Don't get me wrong, i love Sunny (chibichangaaaaaaa) but she is not the best RP in the game. Last night i saw this RP (forgot his name) who actually detaunted me and got out of range as soon as i put a DoT or armor debuff on him, making it really difficult to apply pressure. That alone made him far better than most RPs i have seen so far.

It is too soon for "best of" threads since there are very, very few premades around. Once you see more premades on both sides, many of the players you consider "the best" will become irrelevant.

oh yah stoned mod activated trying to safe em all! I should stop it ^^
the best player?... i just seeking to have fun playing even if my Chiby killed me <3 dying most of the time by SH?
