The reminder should help folks who otherwise wouldn't even think to unblock the site. The ads on the site are so unobtrusive I can't see anyone actively trying to block them besides if their adblock is always on by default.

Does RoR earn more $$ if we click on the ads?

Should this be also mentioned in the front page posts?

I thought i whitelisted this site but it wasn't somehow and msg poped.
i didn't even realize ads were still missing.
now i see ads.
i'll visit site more often.

That's usually what happens. People whitelist it for the day, and something ends up reverting.

Mind if I ask how I disable adblock for this website? I'm using Firefox

No intrusive ads? sorry mate but you have no idea what you are talking about. The adblock stays on until the 'find russian wife.com' no longer shows.

Google Adsense serves ads based on your browsing habits.

I get server hardware offers mostly, and the occasionally sleazy MMO.

What grim said, I get mostly MMO related ads. But it should be noted what Das meant with intrusive is ads that flash, take up more space, take over / pop up, flashing, plays sounds and so on. Those ads pay more but are a pita and generally only incurs wrath from users (and rightly so)
