The Slayers equivilent of the armor debuff CSDC, was a spammeble healdebuff for 20AP,

Yeah, I mostly played my choppa back when we had an armor debuff. At the time they replaced it with inc healing debuff it was more than welcome from my pov because I was in a 6man and had enough WS not to bother about getting through all that armor.

But we're talking solo playing and we're on RoR, not on live servers. With the current state of things and availability of 50% healing debuffs from other represented classes I'd actually be happy to get that armor debuff back.

If we're talking group play, to me if feels like sheer utility of marauders (which actually helps to deliver some serious damage to a debuffed target) makes choppas look a bit lackluster.

I had choppa on my old account. I felt dmg he deal even with full rage mechanic + 25% crit tactic wasnt that impressive if I consider extremely squishines of class. On paper marauder can be better in solo and AOE specs. From wounds,toughnes,armor debuff, thru better detaunt and morals ended up by superior survivability in monstro stance with acces to spec AOE knockdown,aoe dot/debuff and solid dmg from demolition spam coupled with 50% armor ignore tactic.
Well choppas aint bad. Just in bad spot compared to marauders.

Yeah that's pretty much what I think about this. The risk vs reward for playing a choppa just doesn't feel proper compared to marauder and it's probably has more to do with marauders being really good.
